DROP-OUT FUSE
• D.O Fuse sets are of 11KV,22KV & 33KV voltage class, outdoor, vertically mounted are required for protection of transformers and tapping points.
• Conforming to Indian Standard IS: 9385 (Pt. 1-111) & International Standard with latest amendement.
• Rated current of D.O fuse sets shall be 50A/ 100A/200A/400A.
• D.O Fuse Cut Outs are expulsion type. The Breaking capacity shall be 8 KA (asymmetrical).
• Fuse base of D.O Fuse shall be Porcelain/Solidcore/ Polymeric type. Fuse tube/barrel shall be made of fibre glass/ S.R.B.P, Fuse carrier Top & bottom assly. shall be made of non-ferrous casting.
• All ferrous parts are Hot-Dip-Galvanized as per IS: 2629,15: 2633,15: 6745 & all non-ferrous (Copper/ Copper alloy /Brass /Bronze/G.M) contact parts are electro Silver plated for corrosion resistance and efficient current flow.
• Expulsion type D.O fuse cut outs can be classified into following categories :
1. i) Channel type/ Bracket type/ Single vent type (downward) etc. (according to typical construction),
2. ii) Single Phase/Two Phase/Three Phase (according to no. of Phases),
